That's correct - no attempt was made by the company to reschedule me in the sim, despite my numerous requests. A few weeks after my last sim session in Feb, the guy who makes the schedules sent me an email telling me to report back in a few days - that they had scheduled my remedial session AND my type-ride in the same 4-hour block. I traded out of a trip with my company, flew across the country to FL, paid for a hotel and rental car . . . only to have them cancel it at the last minute.
Just a guess, but it seemed to me that the airline guys who moonlight there as instructors/examiners get it, but their suggestions to management fall on deaf ears.
Whatever it is, they have my $10K, and I was never given the opportunity to be scheduled for my one remedial session or the type-ride. I've requested a full refund, and (naturally) they refused.
Gotta love the aviation bidness . . .
