Congratulations! Have you called and booked in for your medical? I would suggest doing that asap, and you may even be lucky and get in before you go? I found that some places had quite a long wait. I'm in Adelaide, so I'm actually heading over to Melbourne to have it done next week, as I couldn't bare waiting weeks to have it done!
I suggest letting them know you are going away, by phone or email but booking in for a medical either before or when you get back, and telling them when it is. This will let recruitment know when your medical will be complete (even if it is 4 weeks away) and that you are still very much interested

I took your advice and got everything done (medical and vaccinations) on Friday, shots were $160 and medical was $280 here in Syd.
