If a Diplomat says Yes, they mean Maybe.
If a Diplomat says Maybe, they mean No.
And if a Diplomat says No, they're not a Diplomat.
When mother in law says "I'll think about" I respond, "That's a no then" but I never professed to be a diplomat.
