According to my records 2016 had 36 flights at an average of 141 and 2017 had 32 flights at an average 145 so load factor in fact increased, so hopefully the profit increased or loss reduced and that they were just right-sizing for the route. Also I believe February was a record on the route 5776 as a single operator.
It is fair to say passenger wise BHX-KEF hasn't been stellar but seems to average consistently over 70% load factor most months although with AA departing and United reducing last winter I suppose some including me might have thought they would have gained.
