Wish I had your sense of optimism. This is a nation that in the recent past sunk a SK navy ship, a bellicose action that killed many. Pretty sure they don't use the same calculus as the rest of us in their actions. NK will not risk absolute destruction by starting a war it can't win.
NK doesn't have any oil so the comparison with the Middle East dictatorships doesn't wash.
