Today's Derry Journal has an extensive article regarding the airport. The main points are:
- hopes are high BMIR will start BHX and BRS.
- still in discussions with airlines regarding a MAN route.
- hopeful that further tour operators will add FAO and other possible bucket and space routes.
- BMIR are delighted with sales on the route. One of their strongest launches.
Lots of hope, ifs and maybes, but additional BMIR services seem a no-brainer given the gap between the morning STN arrival and evening departure. Here's hoping.
