Saudia offer competitive fairs, and having a drink on board apart from the westerners (and those of the faith who view there religion slightly differently) who are heading in or out of the kingdom, I do not think having a drink is a big deal for most of there clients I would suggest. Also if on contract in the Kingdom you often have to use Saudia when returning on leave. When I was there we often tried to "miss" Saudia flight as we then got put on BCAL as the alternative way home. Always remember a tartan clad CC asking me what I would like to drink on my first trip home, and when my G&T arrived found it to be huge. She then politely told me they always served doubles or more when leaving the Kingdom !
