Surely throwing money to take the airport back over 2.1 million pax and rise it up through the league table is only worth it if there is a tangible benefit to Wales and its economy.
But do the people of Cardiff and south Wales show a similar level of enthusiasm to throw money at Cardiff Central Station and National Express Coach Services?
After all, Cardiff is apparently UK's fastest growing city and South Wales (Newport) recently hosted a golf tournament which would surely put the Celtic Manor and CWL at No. 2 behind Gleneagles and PIK!
