When I retired at 60, I became a FISO (Flight Information Service Officer) at a smaller airfield in order to keep my brain working and keep up to date with the ATC world. (Don't know if you have FISOs in Oz, it's like ADV but with less authority)
Also keeps me from getting under the wife's feet all the time!
