Yes, it is true. All Senior FO's are being fired now. The order of notice is 60 days before your license expires, so they use you until the last day. There is a policy against expat in this company. I have been working here almost 10 years, and i have a very good friend in the office who recommended me to find another airline as soon as i can. The problem now with the Senior FO's is that they are hiring expat FO's who are paying 100.000 usd, so they need space for these other non experienced pilots, even if this means to sacrifice the safety of this "non sure" 4 stars Company. But the plan of the company is to nationalize the A321 fleet within 2 or 3 years maximum. The reason, the salary of an expat Captain is the triple of a local Captain. They are recruiting 100 local cadets per year since last year, wich means that another 100 Local FO's will be upgraded per year, saying goodbye to the expat Captains soon or later, including expat TRE's, TRI's, LTC, etc... Doesn't matter what Rishworth or other agencies says or promises, even if they give you one contract for 20 years, in the contact is written also that they just need to advise with 60 days to break this period, so they can finish whenever they want same as they are doing now with the Senior FO's. For sure they will need all pilots for the next year, but after that, with these huge quantity of Local Cadets being released, they will fire all expat pilots... Is obvious, because they are waiting just 10 more aircraft and they are recruiting around 300 Local Cadets. As information, we have now 117 expat pilots in the fleet, excluding the Senior FO's. So, its easy to see what is coming with more than 300 and more Local pilots joining the company in the coming years. Yes, expect all kind of promises from the agencies to cover the need of pilots on 2018, but expect also that your contract will be ended maybe in the middle or before... With these 60 days. As i said before in other post, if you don't have more options, and if you just want to be here around one year or a bit more, then could be a good option, but if you are planning something with future... Better stay away, at any moment your contract will be ended. Good luck!!
