As Lancair says, indefinitely.
But bear in mind that you'll need to be up to a standard to pass a BFR, and for some people over some time that could mean a bit of work. Don't forget your medical too.

From memory, I think the air law re-sit requirement was for people that have not flown for 5 years or more.
