They need to get a lawn mower then.
At least they've made an effort when it would surely have been easier to simply grass those areas.
On a serious note there is plenty of mowed grass around the airside boundary that could be turned into a development of wild flower pasture rather than a few metres of untidiness next to their nice new terminal. It is all about customer perception which is something my local airport also needs to understand.
