Sorry for being a pedant, but curious to learn why the differences...? Some Gazelles with small vs. large end plates on the horizontal stabiliser, some with upturned engine exhaust vs. rear facing exhaust, some with enclosed tail rotor drive shaft vs. open tail rotor drive shaft........
Lovely looking aircraft. Don't make 'em like that any more.....
Upturned exhaust as protection against MANPADs - heat seeking SAMS reduction in heat signature if you're thinking of the ALAT airframes ..
Plus safe to say some of privately owned Gazelles are ex mil , some are civil assembled from day one....et. Etc
