Lovely looking aircraft. Don't make 'em like that any more.....
Upturned exhaust as protection against MANPADs - heat seeking SAMS reduction in heat signature if you're thinking of the ALAT airframes ..

Plus safe to say some of privately owned Gazelles are ex mil , some are civil assembled from day one....et. Etc
