Airspace in the UK

Hello,

I'm trying to understand the UK airspace classes and getting a bit confused.

On a UK VFR chart above, correct if I'm wrong but this says the LTMA class A starts at 5,500ft and the WORTHING CTA class A starts at Flight level 75, obviously if your flying at these heights your penetrating this airspace and must have permission to enter on a IFR flight but no VFR permitted.

Are you allowed to fly below the 5,500 ft and Flight level 75 in those areas? If so would this then become uncontrolled airspace and if so what class does this become, class G?
