I know I'm looking at this from a far too simplistic view, but would it have not made more sense to build the new remotes first, and then as the piers start to get built and take away stands, the new stands could be the backfil.
With 90-100 based and overnighting aircraft, and this construction project not designed to add new stands as it is, I'm just worried ramp space is going to be a very big premium now, and no, not for diversions etc, but for possible new based aircraft and new operators.
