Do you know the process in which these new apron stands will be built? The reason I ask is that I'm aware of the stands adjecant to the car park are being closed off ready to start the work.
However, it doesn't seem to be tallying up with the car park, where a friend sent me a picture where just after the barriers into staff west, they are currently building new islands for new car park barriers to go in, presumably for the smaller version on staff west, or perhaps a slight reshuffle of T2 long stay?
The position of the barriers mean like it looks like the car park will still be along the current perimeter fence, and therefore, surely in the way of construction. I had also seen a communication that some of staff west will still be in place for a minimum of 2 years, which if they want to crack on with the stand construction in that area, seems a little bit of a long time?
