I suspect there are several factors. The fall in the oil-related activity may be spreading, and more to the East than the West; and present economic uncertainty may be playing a part. However the main growth in capacity has been aimed at winter sun traffic, which with the exception of ski business, is mainly aimed at the retired, like me, who are the only group who have, we are told, a sustained increase in disposable income.
