Try booking connecting flights together using airmiles through the Executive Club - a year ago you could do it but now it will only allow you to book the sectors separately and hence the issue raised earlier whereby you don't seem to able to check your bags right through. If there's stupidity involved here then it also sits with the BA staff who have told me that's now the situation.
sorry but without being accused of being ignorant could you give me an example of where you cant book xxx-lhr-xxx
from what I understand as long as miles seats are available on each sector and the minimum connection time has been observed that you shouldn't have any issues booking this as one ticket ?
