I'm curious to understand how well CA and GA co-exist at SEN? Does SEN ATC openly accommodate healthy buoyant GA movement's at the field whilst commercial movements are active? I'm wondering will it get to a point where GA will be killed off altogether - which will be sad in my opinion.
Take LGW as a comparison, a single runway operation that supports two significantly sized terminals.
Not that SEN is, or is likely to ever be, a LGW but what is likely to come first, modestly sized terminal congestion or single runway operation congestion.
I understand that the ex terminal has become the biz terminal, the commercial terminal shall max out with passengers and movements long before the runway ever does leaving scope for plenty of biz and GA movements.
