Just been on the phone to the owner - I'm going to visit it on wednesday, mainly with the idea of a source of signed off hard to find parts for my P47.
The quote for refurbishing a P47 gear leg is £X
The asking price for the Sea Fury project is £X
so I get a new gear leg and a potential project as well
Will advise. I may have to enlist the help of
Circuit Basher when he's next at Perth. CB just look for the chap in grubby overalls lying under the P47 in the very far corner of the hangar...
