Wouldn't put down Pilot for me since I am turning 28 this year which is just past the 27.5 recommended cut off for DEO Pilot.
As finestkind alluded to, this is not correct. At the very least, this Adviser already suggested it was only a
recommended cut off.
Perhaps tactfully request another Career Adviser...
Don't rule yourself out for flying a Super Hornet, either. You'll be the only barrier to doing that if you get a foot in the door!
