If the Handelsblatt article has even a semblance of truth combined with strong suggestions that STC will step down this year then I would suggest one of the following:
1. EK is finished. CM and STC jump ship before the "water floods all the compartments", (you may recall there was no need for lifeboats because HMS EK is unsinkable by "just doing things better"). No CEO will want to be at the wheel when she goes "down by the bow".
2. CM heads up an undisclosed air service based in the nations capital, merges another airline based to the north (with a low cost division), and creates one large, lean and mean contender for air traffic in this region.
In this region, he who has the most wins.
