SOUTHEND Airport is now at the same capacity as Luton as it celebrates five years as an easyJet base...with ambitious plans to become bigger and better.
More than four million passengers have flown out of the airport, run by Stobart Aviation, on over 32,000 easyJet flights since April 2012.
Will someone run that one past me again ... Squeezy have been operating out of LTN for some 20 years, out of SEN for just 5 years, some 800,000 punters per year out of SEN, god knows how many per year out of LTN ... So how does that put SEN on the same capacity as LTN?
And, did I miss something? ... Besides the headline I didn't read anything about Easyjet marking the anniversary, only Southend Airport making a big song and dance about it!
