I still maintain that Stobart will not be running the airport in 5 years time. If it is not successful they will sell their stake at a profit to a business or venture capitalists who think they can turn it around and if it is successful they will sell their stake at a greater profit to a company that wants to run a London airport.
I think it is a win win situation for Southend as Stobart has built the building blocks even though some will argue that they are not the best at running an airport.
