Stobart's optimism is based on the shortage of runway capacity in the south east over the next decade or so, maybe longer.
They have made the capital investment, so now they must hope for increasing usage of their asset to cover the interest.
I suspect their greatest fear is a recession. Although that doesn't look likely at present, the greatest danger is a collapse of the Eurozone.
