Thanks but I don't live in High Wycombe (I used to fly from the airfield there), I'm a bit further away from Leeds in West Berks (as previously mentioned).
There were a few cheaper fares from my location, but the start time was even earlier than I'm already doing, and I don't need to be in Leeds all day. It's also this Weds (5th) that I'm travelling and not the following week (which probably would be a bit cheaper).
I think my general point, that the train is often more expensive, and usually slower, stands.
