I doubt LAX would go to three daily A380.
As for new aircraft orders, you have to understand the IAG thought process. IAG has a very disciplined approach to capital expenditure. The last thing IAG wants to do is to have to park a score of BA A380s in the desert the next time there is a downturn.
Willie Walsh said he was interested in leasing second hand A380s for a reason: IAG wants maximum ability to flex BA capacity in a downturn.
