Maybe he meant that obstacles and terrain that were already in the database started giving warnings with EGPWS that weren't given with GPWS and that the system logic had to be adjusted to allow for them, but that's not what he said.
Perhaps that's what he meant. I took it that way because perhaps I was reading too quickly.
