It will be interesting to see the effects of this.
For example, are passengers choosing to fly long haul east rather than west? Or are they choosing to not fly at all? If they do fly, are they choosing the cheaper option, or are they sucking up the higher cost?
Either way, Cathay is very welcome and lets hope it sparks HU and SQ to match their frequency.
