It would be really great if there could be some kind of agreed formatting for defining the coordinates of the actual NOTAM'd space in the NOTAM free text, since then it would be possible to automatically plot the true NOTAM polygon (like we do for Red Arrows transits), but sadly it is not so.
The only consistently formatted part of a NOTAM is the "Q line" which gives a centre-point, radius and a code for the type of NOTAM it is - there is no guarantees that a promulgator will enter the right information into this Q line of course, but at least it is always formatted correctly!
The Notam free text says "SOLENT CTA AND SOUTHAMPTON CTR/ATZ ACTIVATED" , what difference do the coordinates make? Surely that, and the hours, are all you need to know.
