Years ago when I traveled on staff passes with my young boys they wore regular trousers, shirts and shoes. No jeans, no trainers, no shorts. Those were the rules and we accepted them. Of course, over the years, with the changes of fashion by regular passengers it soon became evident who the staff travelers were
From what I have witnessed in more recent years many airlines have relaxed the rules to a certain extent but still keeping within the boundaries of good taste. I fully support United's decision.
