Back in the mid-nineties my company had a Fokker 100 abandon after V1. The details are a bit hazy after this length of time, but somehow the hydraulic feed to the elevators wasn't there. The abandon was successful. It was suggested by engineering that a force some six times normal would have enabled the aircraft to fly, as noted in the in-flight emergencies section of the manual.
