Thought Bubble: Great retention equals a happy workforce. A happy workforce reflects a desirable employer. A desireable employer means many applicants (think how competitive it was to get into EK a decade or more ago). There are many very simple and also cost neutral ways to fix retention-although all require Leadership not management-and a happy and motivated workforce would- amazingly- mean significantly greater profits for the company. Win-Win. Unfortunately as I don't have an MBA you can take this as my unqualified opinion only, that may bear no relation to any actual outcome.
