The idea that there is "a que" to join the EU is ridiculous. Are you seriously saying that Scotland or indeed any other country which met all the requirements would be banned from becoming a member until the likes of Albania, Moldova and Bosnia played catch up? Why do people think this, did you read it in some right wing anti-EU newspaper? It's certainly not official EU policy to make potential members wait longer than they need to.

Anyway, I am also a Scottish airport worker, one of the many I know who are deeply worried about the mess brexit will cause and now very much looking forward to getting out of the UK, plenty of former No voters now on side, thankfully. The loss of FoM is going to hit us hard and any attempt to bring back draconian regulation of the airlines and make EU workers second class citizens will be devastating.

Why the assumption that Scotland would suffer from a drop in business? Surely distancing ourselves from the increasingly xenophobic, insular UK Government and their damaging policies will do us the world of good? The arguments against indy are really falling to bits now, perhaps why Willie Rennie plans to campaign on an "emotional" level to appeal to the union jack wavers. They have nothing else left really.
