I seem to remember the Comet was G-APDD now. Dan Air acquired it in Mar 1971 and it was PWFU in Apr 1973. The accident occurred during light snow fall (which may or may not have had something to do with the overrun
) so it was either winter 71/72 or 72/73; I would suggest the latter. MGC was also there.
