The plan.

At some point at HUY. Someone will realise that they have a critical shortage of crews with more leaving. HR will say 'do we really need pilots as RL lake says that all aircraft will be remote control soon'.

Then say 'lets make engineers redundant as planes work by magic, so all we need is a wizard'. Lots of back patting and loud yoop's as they think this is ultra forward, corporate blue sky thinking.

The commercial department will say 'look I've sold a long term charter in wales for £500 per day, that's £2000 per week!!!!. There's no outlay or loss as planes fly in air and air is free'. That's actually closer to the truth than people would realise.

Someone with no idea on reality outside the portacabins will bound into ops and crewing. Probably dressed as Julius Caesar with a copy of Mein Kampf in their hands. Demanding why crews cannot do six sectors days for seven days. And shouting 'who is this EASA who say we can't do it. Is he she a new FO, sounds dutch'.

In the meantime, a J41 is being towed up the motorway to Anglesey with 29 pax by a tug because there is no one to replace a prop and no crew to fly it.
