"especially as VLY was purposely built for the CWL route"

There have been runways at Valley and Mona for a long time before the air service started...

Interesting that the Manx 2 press release states that you will be able to travel by train from Cardiff or stations Holyhead to Bangor with your flight ticket.

Now then, British Rail (some of you posting might not remember them) started Holyhead to Cardiff through services in March 1985, the service survives today with Arriva Trains Wales, subsidised by the WAG...

"Traws Cambria" by bus started in June 1979 under the auspices of the National Bus Company (some of you posting might not remember it either), with support from (the then) Welsh Office. It's still running under the "TrawsCymru" brand, supported by the WAG.

Do the WAG really need to keep another subsidised way of getting North to South by air, with at the most 38 passengers each way, each day?

MH.
