While not condoning in any way Tierney's flying without a licence (and therefore insurance I guess) and his Walting, I have seen nothing to indicate he ever damaged an aircraft, or was caught infringing airspace or annoying air traffic. Maybe this flying lark isn't as difficult as some people think?
