Just learn this phrase "descend now" and you will be OK. The Italian's are the worst culprits for giving ridiculously early descents.
Any specific example would be highly appreciated.
This is not to say we always stick to the 'top of descent' profile' (by all means, more often than not we don't), I'm just trying to understand how our job is perceived at the other end of the microphone, and possibly try to explain why it happens.
