Schofields NSW (YSFS) research
Hi guys/gals,
I know there are a few Aussie's that visit this forum but I want to cast the net a little wider. I am an amateur (so don't expect anything too awesome) flight sim scenery developer and currently working on some freeware scenery for Schofields aerodrome.
This aerodrome used to also be the former HMAS Nirimba and is positioned pretty much between Richmond and Bankstown airfields in NSW Australia.
Google Earth and my memory has filled in at least the runway layout and where the blimp hangar was. But I am after any pictures or diagrams of the hangar, building and aerodrome layout as it would have looked in the years up to its closure. I know its along shot but there really aren't many pics around.
If you've got anything, that could be of assistance it would be much appreciated.
