Malabo.........loved the "Canadian roots, ethic, regulatory flexibility and competence" part! The days of showing up early, staying late and working together with professionals to get the job done unfortunately died the day First Reserve stepped in. The continuous sea of +/- 500' ex-military IFR superstars from south of the border quickly diluted the talent pool...........and like a malignant tumour "What can I do to help?" was quickly replaced with "It's not my problem" and "Has the bus left yet?" I pulled the pin there many years ago and it's been tough to watch a pedestal company get run into the ground from mismanagement and poor hiring practices. I'm sure I'll retire one day and look back on those two decades with the old CHC as the best years in my career.
