Loudest single engine jet I've heard - by a long shot.
Wasn't that also part of the criteria for selling F-16s to p!sspot regimes - take out all the good bits and stick in a loud engine - sold thousands.
Really liked the F22 Raptor display, met one the FJs later and asked whether all that copious use of afterburner was automatic - nope it was a very manual selection. He also explained the wing configuration used for the slow pass which was also done on full burners.
