I'm pretty sure they already have more than enough pilots for the time being from QAC, CTC and STAA so even though they no longer select STAA for their MPL Programme I doubt Qatar will find another school in the near time to train their cadets in at least not in a few months.
For rumours, I haven't heard anything.
