Just recalled a story of a mate of mine, arrived in Roma with a business associate for some meetings. Parks the Bonanza, gets out gear etc and some FOI's approach and they started getting pushy.......picked the wrong guy. My mate is no fool on legalities etc, but chose to point them in the direction of his passenger, saying something of the effect, if you have anything further to say, talk to him because he will use it against you in a court of law. You take your chances.
The passenger was a keen sportsman......of law. Seems they declined after their first question that was over the line
Everyone parted on good terms and without further harassment involved.
