The application has to be approved first (by the 9/03/2017 latest) before any work can commence. I can't access the plans online at the moment, so I don't know just how big or small the job actually is. Resurfacing can be done in one night, however if it involves rebuilding a taxiway then that is a much larger task. Guessing the airport feels these works are required ahead of the additional traffic expected from May onwards.
