Thank you one and all. Especially to the original author. I think some of the above phrases may be attributable to some of my other Aussie brothers in the TWR, but I accept the sentiment. Operating as a controller in Hong Kong was certainly one of the highlights of my career. Sometimes frustrating when aircrew were not fully aware of our limitations, practices and workload. I certainly appreciate the efforts of several of the senior Cathay, Dragonair, Hong Kong Airlines and Express's aircrew's efforts to address the communication gap between controllers and aircrew. I'd also like to mention my ATC mates that helped in that process too and to all those in the HKATCA, our Association, that I've had the pleasure to work with. Last is my home team on the roster.
