From Shannon allowing 2hr road trip, 2hrs at airport and 6hr 50min flight time is 10hrs 50 mins , cost 2,422.

On these dates it is €575 Euro cheaper from Shannon with EI.

Has anybody else made similar comparisons?
I booked early this morning and got a great deal for 2 adults and 2 kids for July. Saved myself over 2k on EI on same dates from SNN. However as the day has gone by, the low fares have gone and the difference is not all that much if any. In fact I already had booked by Christmas flights home via EI/SNN and their prices are are still far lower than going into ORK over that same period. Will be interesting how this pans out once the initial buzz is gone(and no more $69 fares)
