Why is it hilarious? If anything the pettiness on this thread is hilarious. If they were going to launch an additional route (not saying they will), Munich in particular is probably one of the only feasible routes due to the reasons stated above. It doesn't take a lot to fill up a 49 seat aircraft to a hub airport of 100's of connections with Derry having a population of 250,000+ let alone the rest of N.I. which has no connection with Germany aside from Berlin.
