EDI is a funny beast, Air Transat kept EDI-YYZ at once per week for years then simply gave up and concentrated on GLA. Air Canada took the opposite decision, they returned to the Scottish market not via their old West Coast stomping ground(s) but via EDI and it remains at a higher frequency than the re-started GLA.
I agree Florida and long haul summer sun remains comparably under-served but GLA currently has the better facilities for long haul hands down.
