Quite a few "if's" in that article - the ciritical point will be if they detect similar "irrepairable" cracks in the other boats - even tho they are in maintenance it may be for something else altogether

They could juggle the decommisioning times on the remaining Trafalgars - or park them "in case of emergency" until enough Astutes are available.......
